Since 2003, 185 people have died in ICE immigration detention, including 10 deaths this year alone. Several investigations into deaths in detention have found that inadequate medical care has contributed to numerous deaths.
Join Detention Watch Network (DWN) in marking the Latin American holiday, Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, by sharing our series of graphics from Wednesday, October 31 to Friday, November 2, to bring awareness to the untimely deaths of immigrants in ICE custody.
