Amplify #DetentionDeaths this Day of the Dead

Via Detention Watch Network

Since 2003, 185 people have died in ICE immigration detention, including 10 deaths this year alone. Several investigations into deaths in detention have found that inadequate medical care has contributed to numerous deaths.
Join Detention Watch Network (DWN) in marking the Latin American holiday, Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, by sharing our series of graphics from Wednesday, October 31 to Friday, November 2, to bring awareness to the untimely deaths of immigrants in ICE custody.
Sharing DWN’s Day of the Dead graphics:
  • We will rollout our graphics and tweets based on thisschedule. Please feel free to post the graphics on your own pages with the corresponding day. If you do your own posts, please use #DetentionDeaths and #DayoftheDead. Please do not post before the assigned day.
