Join Enlace, CIYJA, and ABC for a Prison Divestment Campaign meeting in the Bay Area. We will bring together Black and Brown youth to continue movement building against mass incarceration and immigration enforcement.

We’re launching into a year of intense organizing against private prison investments in California–join us Thursday and help us hold California investors accountable for their active profiting from private companies that exist to jail, abuse, and deport black and brown bodies. Enlace, in partnership with community groups and unions across the US, is calling on all public and private institutions to divest their holdings in Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) and GEO Group, America’s largest private prison corporations which have profited from billions in taxpayer money. The major investors in the private prison industry include Wellington Management Company, Wells Fargo Bank, General Electric, FIdelity Management, Capital Research Global Investors and others.
