Enough is enough, are you ready to fight back on Nov. 9? Join us in taking action against state-wide “trigger cuts” that will impact every facet of public services and public education. Billions of dollars in state-wide cuts are proposed and would impact critical public services such as In Home Support Services, Developmental Services and child care programs. The pending cuts are real and the impacts to public services will be severe.
K-12 and higher education faces the brunt of the cuts. Tuition at California Community Colleges is set to skyrocket. An additional $1.5 billion in cuts coming on the heels of $18 billion in reductions already made in the last three years would impact K-12 education.
The “trigger cuts” come on top of severe cuts already impacting essential services for seniors, the disabled and job placement programs. Join us in taking a leadership role to promote the need for additional revenue, hold Wall Street accountable and protect essential services.
Join us Nov. 9th as we march with community partners taking action to Refund Public Services and Protect Public Education.
NO MORE PRISONS! WE NEED HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATION!
