PROTEST Corrections Corporation of America’s Annual Shareholder’s Meeting

CCA 2016 ShareholderCORRECTIONS CORPORATION OF AMERICA (CCA) is the largest private, for-profit prison operator in the United States, and it is headquartered right here in Nashville, Tennessee just outside of the Green Hills area.

On May 12, like-minded people will gather to PROTEST at CCA’s 2016 Annual Shareholder’s meeting. Several groups have expressed interest in sending members to the protest, and we hope you will join us.

Prison Legal News Managing Editor Alex Friedmann, a Nashville resident and former CCA prisoner, will attend the closed meeting as an activist shareholder.

The protest will start promptly on May 12 at 9:30am at CCA’s office, at 10 Burton Hills Blvd., Nashville, just outside of Green Hills. The protest is limited to the sidewalk areas around the building.

All who are interested can show up to show their displeasure with the nation’s largest for-profit prison firm! This is a BYOS event (bring your own sign). Follow the Facebook event page for up-to-the minute details! Don’t be left out!
