Urge Investors to Stop Supporting Private Prisons that Hurt Immigrant Families #Jan24DIVEST

Join Our Picket Line and Free Immigrants in Detention!

Tuesday January 31st at Noon

In Front of Fidelity Headquarters, Downtown Boston (82 Devonshire St., Boston, MA 02109)

After they wrecked our economy, Big Banks are financing Anti-immigrant laws like Arizona’s SB1070 and policies such as S-COMM. They make millions of $$$ from separating and incarcerating our communities.

FIdelity is a major investor in the largest companies in the nation’s private prison business: GEO and CCA.

GEO and CCA have been linked to abusive practices in immigrant detention facilities. Courts have found them responsible for wrongful deaths, sexual assualts, and other horrors in their tax-funded lock-ups.

Widespread abuse of immigrant detainees recently motivated the United Methodist Church and its pension fund to divest all holdings from GEO, CCA, and the private prison industry.

For the sakes of thousands of suffering immigrant families, tax-payers, and humanity, please join us in asking Fidelity to stop investing in an anti-immigrant prison industry.
