| Every year the US government spends billions on militarizing our borders and the detention and deportation of our communities. Together, we reject the constant growth of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), two agencies who are directly complicit in the abuse and death of thousands. These agencies tear apart families and terrorize our communities. That is why we are calling on Congress to defund ICE and CBP.To-date, the #DefundHate campaign has helped successfully block over $5 billion in sought-after funding for border militarization and immigration detention.
